Education shapes lives. Yet, millions of girls around the world still miss out on this basic right. Many families cannot afford school fees, and some communities hold back girls from attending school due to social or cultural reasons. This gap in education limits opportunities, traps families in cycles of poverty, and slows progress for entire societies. We want to change that. By working together, we can open doors for girls who are currently denied schooling and give them a chance to build brighter futures.

Why Girls’ Education Matters
Educating girls benefits everyone. When girls attend school, they gain knowledge, skills, and confidence. This leads to better health, higher incomes, and stronger communities. Studies show that girls who complete secondary education marry later and have fewer, healthier children. Their families earn more, and their countries grow economically.
Despite these facts, UNESCO estimates that over 130 million girls worldwide are out of school. Barriers include poverty, early marriage, lack of safe transportation, and cultural norms. Families often prioritize boys’ education when resources are limited. This leaves many girls behind, unable to reach their potential.
The Cost Barrier and How We Address It
One of the biggest obstacles is the cost of schooling. Fees for tuition, uniforms, books, and transportation add up quickly. For families living on less than a few dollars a day, these expenses are impossible to meet. Even when schools are free, hidden costs can prevent attendance.
Our organization, EEG, steps in to remove these financial barriers. We cover all school-related expenses for girls who would otherwise be unable to attend. This support includes:
School fees and registration costs
Uniforms and school supplies
Transportation to and from school
Meals during school hours when needed
By providing these essentials, we ensure families do not have to choose between education and survival.
How You Can Help Identify Girls in Need
We cannot reach every girl alone. That’s why we ask for your help. If you know a girl who is not attending school due to financial or social reasons, please recommend her to us. Your recommendation can change her life.
Here’s how you can help:
Talk to families in your community or network
Identify girls who have dropped out or never enrolled
Share their names and contact information with EEG
Encourage families to accept our support
We respect privacy and handle all information confidentially. Our goal is to reach girls who need help most, regardless of location or background.
What Happens After You Recommend a Girl
Once you provide a recommendation, EEG follows a clear process:
Verification: We confirm the girl’s situation in cosultation with her parents/guardian.
Enrollment: We coordinate with relevant schools to register her.
Support: We pay tuition fees directly to school and cover cost of uniforms, books, transportation, etc.
Monitoring: We track attendance and progress to ensure she stays in school.
Our team works closely with families to address any challenges that arise. We want to create a supportive environment where girls can thrive.
The Bigger Picture: Education and Equality
Sending girls to school is not just about individual success. It advances gender equality and social justice. Educated women participate more in decision-making, politics, and the workforce. They challenge harmful stereotypes and break cycles of discrimination.
By helping girls attend school, you contribute to a fairer world. Education is a foundation for peace, health, and prosperity. Every girl who learns today becomes a leader tomorrow.
Every action counts. Together, we can build a global movement to ensure no girl is left behind.
